A sunny and authentic B&B in the South of France

If you’re looking for a place to go for a short getaway, you’ve come to the right place. Nestled between Provence, the Lower Languedoc, the Camargue, the Rhône, and the Gardon, stop by Montfrin, in the heart of the “Golden Quadrangle”: Nîmes, Uzès, Arles, and Avignon .

We are delighted to welcome you to our guesthouse, Le Prieuré Notre-Dame, in Montfrin. This Templar treasure, located near the Commanderie, has been completely restored to welcome you in a warm and intimate atmosphere, offering you comfortable, modern, and cheerful accommodations for your vacation.

The proximity of the Pont du Gard site, as well as the cities of Nîmes and Avignon, makes our village particularly attractive; the nearby Camargue offers a unique natural setting on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea in the heart of Provence, with the city of Arles serving as its gateway.
The Gard region is the cradle of Roman civilization, home to four exceptional sites listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the Pont du Gard, the Abbey Church of Saint-Gilles, the Maison Carrée in Nîmes, and the vast landscapes of the Causses and the Cévennes.

The Priory Rooms

Charming rooms

As soon as you step through the door of the Prieuré Notre-Dame, you’ll immediately sense the spirit of the ancient stones of the 12th-century Templar tower, the heart of the Prieuré. Its two floors house four rooms and one suite, each with a private bathroom and toilet.

Charles, François, Louis, Alphonse, and Madeleine... At Le Prieuré, you have a front-row seat to admire the Notre-Dame de Malpas church. You’ll discover Montfrin’s rich history, as this village has existed for over 2,000 years. That’s why we’ve named each room after a famous figure who once stayed in Montfrin.
